Next Stop: Penny Arcade Expo

We will be unveiling Dark Carnival at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle September 4-6.

Dark Carnival is the third of five campaigns we have revealed. It is the second campaign of the game and picks up after you have escaped from Savannah.

Besides Dark Carnival, we will be showing Swamp Fever for those who missed it at Comic Con. We have two locations at PAX this year, Microsoft's Xbox 360 booth and Valve's L4D2 booth. Each will be showing a different campaign.... [read more]

Valve today announced that Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) will be shown and playable during the upcoming Penny Arcade Expo (PAX), held September fourth thru sixth in Seattle, Washington.

After debuting "The Parish" campaign (set in the New Orleans' French Quarter) at E3, and "Swamp Fever" at Comic Con San Diego, the PAX showing will unveil "Dark Carnival", the third of the five campaigns shipping with L4D2 this fall. Updates to Left 4 Dead have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Fixed an exploit that allowed files to be uploaded to the server at arbitrary locations in the file system
